Legal Representative - Instructions for filling in:
Registration of the legal representative duly authorized
1. Registration as legal representative in https://ari.sef.pt
2. Reception of e-mail with the authentication data
3. Authentication in Portal ARI in https://ari.sef.pt, with the introduction of the e-mail indicated in the registration and password provided in the authentication e-mail. There is the option to change the password.
4. In the Registration page is possible to:

Edit the registration data of the legal representative

Create a new Applicant

Edit the Applicant previously created

Registration of a new Applicant for the Residence Permit for Investment – Filling in of the data of the Investor Register by the legal representative
After logging in the Portal ARI in https://ari.sef.pt the following must be completed::
1. E-mail – Optional
2. Type of Investment
3. Identification
4. Passport
5. Address and phone number, preferably in national territory
6. Legal representative – Automatically filled
Submission of the application to the Residence Permit for Investment Regime
1. Login at Portal ARI in https://ari.sef.pt
2. Select the applicant
3. Complete the application and submit
4. Upload the documents needed for the application according to the type of investment
5. Submit the application with all documents needed (documents should be in PDF format with a maximum of 4MB)
6. Confirm submission of the application
7. Proceed to “Payment”
8. Filling in NIF (tax registration number)
9. Printing the Single Collecting Document (DUC) with the analysis fee
10. Proceed to payment of DUC in time
11. Await e-mail from AIMA with the following information:

The application has been accepted and you can proceed to scheduling

• Errors have been detected and you must proceed to its correction and submit again the application

Note: the e-mail is sent to the legal representative
Scheduling with AIMA (upon AIMA validation of the documents submitted with the application)
1. Login at Portal ARI in https://ari.sef.pt
2. Select the applicant
3. In the Application page proceed to “Calendar”
4. Select the bureau service (the availability is guaranteed in several AIMA bureau offices in national territory)
5. Select Year/Month
6. Select Day
7. Select Time (if the vacancy is no longer available, another schedule must be selected)
8. Reception of an e-mail with all the scheduling data for visiting AIMA bureau service for delivery of the documents needed and gathering of the biometric data
